Being a first generation American, I have always grown up with a passion and openness for new cultures. Visiting my homeland of Austria throughout my life, really sparked a fire and longing to live abroad. After I met my husband, we were lucky enough to live in Japan for three years. I took a giant leap closer to my goal of visiting 50 countries before 50, something I started in my mind while exploring Europe. I traveled to 10 countries around the Pacific bringing my total to 23. I continue to seize every opportunity to not only learn about the world and the cultures in it, but also succeeded in each new location it drops us into. I am so grateful for my past experiences and am so excited for my next journey in San Diego! #50before50 When I'm not planning my next country to visit, you can find me hiking with my rescue dog Olive, behind a camera lens, scuba diving, horseback riding and working out all so I can enjoy all my favorite foods which is everything except seafood. I know what you're thinking. I can't be from Florida if I don't like seafood. Well, I can assure you I am 100% Floridian because the water on the West coast is way too cold for me year around! As a military spouse, I have relocated 6 times around the globe. Knowing first hand how stressful and emotional it can be to find a new home in a new place (often sight unseen) I am here to be on your team, making the transition easier, exciting and dare I say fun?!
