Throughout my career I have focused on promoting sustainability, both environmental and financial. Currently I am the Sales Director of San Diego County Solar, an established, quality-focused San Diego area residential solar PV installer. I also act as a consultant and project manager for our residential customers. My goal is to ensure that homeowners can make informed decisions that fully consider all options, their financial commitments and benefits, as well as the current and likely future regulatory climate. Since 2006, I have occupied many roles in the solar PV industry. I have experience in residential and commercial lead generation and sales, analysis and design, sales of solar PV and energy efficiency solutions, sales of finance products, marketing, project management, managing and training others, etc. I serve my clients with the highest level of integrity and transparency (which results in very high referral rates). Renewable energy is just one aspect of sustainability. I feel a systems approach is the only way to bring the sustainability of our built environment to where it needs to be. In 2008 I became a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor, in 2009 I became a LEED AP, and in 2017 I got my Sustainable MBA. I've been a member of the US Green Building Council for many years, and have been a member of the Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club for the past year. Through books and articles, through classes and seminars, and through independent research, I'm continually adding to my understanding of the interconnected issues we face. Ive also maintained my real estate license throughout my solar career, and manage rental properties. I have a particular interest in to the intersection of sustainability and our built environment.
