Rob Sherwin is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, with Morgan Stanley in Providence, Rhode Island. Mr. Sherwin has been counseling individual and mid market institutional clients as an investment advisor since 1980. Rob began his career with Kidder Peabody and remained with them through their acquisition by Paine Webber. He joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Vice President in May of 1995. Morgan Stanley selected him to participate in their Wealth Advisor program and in their prestigious Wharton postgraduate program at the University of Pennsylvania Rob is past president of The Rhode Island Association of Investment Firms and The Henry Barnard School Parents Association at Rhode Island College. He is Chairman of the investment committees for The Jewish Alliance of Rhode Island and Temple Bethel of Rhode Island. Rob is a Treasurer of American Jewish Society for Service, the oldest Jewish teen work camp program in the United States. Rob graduated from the University of Rhode Island and has taught courses at the University of Rhode Island and Bryant College. He is frequently asked to speak to groups regarding portfolio construction and timely investment issues. Morgan Stanley regularly invites Rob to speak nationally about his business model and client relationship management. He regularly appears on WJAR-TV10, the Providence NBC television affiliate. Robs team at Morgan Stanley includes Christy Price, his Senior Sales Associate. Christy has been in the investment business for over 10 years. Rob also has developed an ongoing Brown University analyst/intern program currently has two Brown interns on his staff. Rob lives in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with his wife and three sons.
