Dick has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, joining Smith Barney now Morgan Stanley in 1998. He began his career in the industry with J.C. Bradford in 1985. Dick focuses on striving to meet all of his clients wealth management needs, including the use of specialists within the firm, in the areas of cash management, lending solutions, estate planning strategies and the sale of family businesses. Dick is a Wealth Management and Financial Planning Specialist. He holds his Series 7, Commodities, Futures, and Insurance Licenses, as well as his South Carolina Real Estate License. He is a Registered Investment Advisory Agent, and holds a Senior Investment Management Consultant designation. Dick also served as a Mutual Fund Coordinator, educating other advisors on mutual funds. Dick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Wayne State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. He also received his Financial Planner designation from Vanderbilt University, and is a graduate of the Consulting Group University of Smith Barney. Dick is a Vietnam Veteran, and holds his Commercial Pilots, Flight Instructor License and U.S. Coast Guard Captains license. He and his wife Jennifer currently reside in Lakewood Ranch Florida. The previous 31yrs were spent on Seabrook Island, SC. They enjoy spending time boating, offshore fishing, walking the beach, golf and vacationing in the North Carolina Mountains. Dick is also very active in the community as a member of the VFW. He served as a charter member and past officer of the Kiawah/Seabrook Exchange Club. He is also active in his church and has served on numerous boards and committees with the town and the Seabrook Island Club. He was instrumental in the incorporation of the Town of Seabrook Island and served two terms as Mayor Pro Temp
