Peter graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Business Finance and has earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst from The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 as an intern and had the opportunity to observe and learn from a 30-year veteran how to best serve clients and engage them in all areas of the wealth management process. Peter was intrigued by the entrepreneurial part of the business and the amazing responsibility a financial advisor has to their clients. After finishing his baseball career with the NY Mets as a pitcher in their minor league system, Peter joined Morgan Stanley full time in 2000. Over the last 16 years he has built a wealth management and institutional consulting team in Boston, called The Princi Group at Morgan Stanley, which consists of 11 professionals. The group manages over $4.5 billion in assets (as of 01/20/2016) for 175 clients made up of high net worth families and institutions. Peter has been named to Barrons Magazine Top 100 Financial Advisors where he ranked #39 in the country for 2016. In addition, he was named to FT Top Financial Advisors list for 2016 and to Registered Reps 40 Wirehouse Advisors Under 40 ranking #1. Most recently, Forbes Magazine ranked him #58 in the country in its listing of Top 100 Wealth Advisors in 2016. As a Senior Portfolio Management Director, Peter is an avid student of the capital markets allowing him to define his investment process involving a focus on investment research, security and manager selection, asset allocation and portfolio construction. The result is individual tactical portfolios tailored specifically to each of his clients goals, risk parameter and time frames. Peter currently resides on the south shore with his wife and three boys. He enjoys reading, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.
