In college Mike studied the language of business and accounting, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration- Accounting, from the University of Washington in 1989. Mike began his financial services career as a CPA with the 'Big 6' accounting firm Deloitte & Touche in 1990 where he learned the value of objectivity, independence, and a conservative approach to financial management before joining RBC Wealth Management. Raised in the Northwest, Mike has two children and resides in Bellevue, WA.
