My official title at Lauterbach is Financial Advisor for Hispanic Investors. Lauterbach is the first NAPFA member firm in El Paso, and I'm the first Hispanic Member in the region. Although that doesn't mean that I only serve Hispanic clients, the majority of my clients are. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe cultural affinity. Maybe language. Maybe because I'm an immigrant. Regardless of the reason, I treat of all my clients with the same dedication and passion to help them achieve their goals without having to worry about the ups and downs of the financial markets. In addition to being a Financial Advisor, I'm passionate about helping people take the mystery out of personal finance, so since 2014 Ive published my podcast, Dinero en Espaol, where I talk about money and finances in a clear way and also interview experts and successful entrepreneurs. Dinero en Espaol has been in the Top 10 of Investing Podcasts in iTunes Mexico for over four years in a row. I've also been a speaker at various community events and I've been a frequent guest on radio, television (Univision El Paso, ABC El Paso, and Telemundo El Paso), print (El Diario de El Paso and El Paso Times) and online publications (Yahoo! Finance and International Business Times) discussing topics such as investing, planning for retirement, budgeting and more. Before moving to El Paso in 2007, I lived in Queretaro, where my parents and brother still live. I enjoy my spare time with my family and our two Scottish Terriers.
