BMSc student interested in career pathways in medicine and healthcare. Currently pursuing an Honors Specialization in Biochemistry + Cancer Biology alongside a minor in Theoretical Physics.
Previously worked on MRI using hyperpolarized Xe gas to assess lung function and track progression of lung diseases like COPD, emphysema, etc.
Additionally completing an undergraduate thesis on resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in leukemia (acute and chronic myeloid) cell models and possible future drug combination therapies.
Aim to improve access to healthcare for all citizens, whether it be through volunteering or by introducing new opportunities to disadvantaged groups.
