That career began at a major bank where she focused on executive compensation issues and advised senior executives on employer stock options and other benefits-related issues. Upon joining a Morgan Stanley predecessor firm in 1999, Kristen immediately set out to bring a planning perspective to the clients she served. As a Certified Financial Planner and Morgan Stanley-credentialed Financial Planning Specialist, she creates plans for clients that encompass not only their investments, but virtually every aspect of their financial lives. Kristen continues to derive satisfaction from helping clients transform sources of financial anxiety to sources of empowerment. Through her methodical approach, she has helped clients adjust their plans to meet unexpected life circumstances and accommodate for unforeseen events and expenses. As a Morgan Stanley-credentialed Family Wealth Advisor, she has the credentials to counsel high net worth families on the intricacies of intergenerational planning, often providing them strategies to potentially minimize both taxes and conflict when structuring their estate plans. A graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in Business and a concentration in Finance, Kristen cares deeply about her community. She played an instrumental role in establishing the Charlotte Metro region of FiA Nation (Females in Action), a fitness group for women. In addition, she is a founding member of the Charlotte chapter of National Charity League, an organization that brings mothers and daughters together in the service of local not-for-profits. She and her husband Mark reside in Charlotte with their three children.
