I got into this career to help people who are looking for help. For our clients, I try to be the first person they call with any finance related questions. Whether it is creating a retirement strategy, saving for a big purchase, starting a college education fund, legacy planning for future generations or general questions about what's going on in the market and what it means for them, my goal is to always be a reliable source of answers. I help people become more comfortable with their financial decision making. Most people have questions, but they don't know where to begin. From educating on the fundamentals to creating a complex plan, I am your resource. If you're just getting started or you'd like a second opinion on what you're doing, feel free to reach out if you think I can help. ABOUT ME I'm a Rochester native, second generation Financial Advisor and former engineer. Even as an advisor, I can truthfully say that I didn't have a clear view on my own financial path until I became my own client. Like most people, I saved what I could and did my best with what was available, but I couldn't answer the most important question "What are my goals and what will they cost?" I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and hold the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. I received a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. After working in engineering and product management in the Chicago area, I returned Rochester to join The Hines Group, working with my father, Ken, and our two registered senior client associates, Andrea and Chris and my longtime friend, Drew, joined our team in 2019. I live in Victor with my wife, Jessica, our children, Isla and Evander and dog, Zeus. We enjoy anything outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, camping - anything that gets us out in nature.
