Juliette has over 18 years of experience in emerging market finance and political risk insurance (15 years of which in London).
- Currently a Director with Socit Gnrales Credit & Political Risk Insurance (CPRI) Team in London. ESG champion and coordinator for the team with expertise in sustainable finance. Juliette manages SocGens CPRI activities originated from its London hub which include a variety of developing & emerging market risks including green / renewables and energy transition deals.
- This follows c. 10 years on the Lloyds of London Insurance market place as a Senior Underwriter with 2 leading Lloyds of London syndicates in the Credit and Political Risk Insurance sector. She was in charge of a large portfolio of banking clients and underwrote deals across a variety of sectors, asset classes (trade finance, structured commodity finance, reserve-based lending, asset-backed lending, export finance, project finance) and counterparty risk exposures based in emerging markets globally.
- Before her underwriting experience, she had origination & structuring experience in emerging market investment banking (export finance and structured commodity finance) where she gained first-hand knowledge of emerging market credit risks through extensive travel across Africa and the former Soviet Union.
