As a member of the Boddiford-Koras Group at Morgan Stanley, Joe has focused on advising high net-worth families, private business owners, and corporate executives on developing strategies to help minimize taxes, monetize and preserve assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. Joe believes in an integrated and comprehensive approach to wealth and investment management. He incorporates this holistic approach within the client experience for the Boddiford-Koras Group. Wealth management services consisting of estate and trust planning strategies, retirement income planning, business succession planning and stock option analysis are combined with a disciplined and personalized investment consulting process. Joe brings a broad set of skills for his clients. He has over 18 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, 7 years of management experience within closely held family businesses, and 5 years experience as a Naval Supply Corp Officer. Joe has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning, and became a Senior Investment Management Consultant (SIMC) in 2012. Joe is active in community affairs and currently serves as a Veteran Mentor with American Corporate Partners, and as an Advisory Board Member with the Historic Ships in Baltimore. Prior activities have included Advisory Board for the YMCA of Central Maryland, and campaign chair with the United Way. Joe graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and engineering. Joe then graduated from the Naval Supply Corp School in Athens, Georgia. Joe and his wife Bridget have been blessed with four children, Alexander, Elizabeth, Meredith, and John Paul.
