John has been in the financial services industry since 2000 and joined Merrill in 2012. His focus is on developing strategies for high-net-worth individuals, their families and their businesses to help them meet their short- and long-term financial goals. As a Portfolio Manager in the Merrill Investment Advisory Program, John can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. John is exceptionally service-oriented, striving to stay in close contact with each client. He believes that his proactive approach helps him anticipate client financial needs and be better prepared to help clients balance risk and reward based on their individual needs. His consultative, objective approach to wealth management shows his commitment to excellence. He takes time to listen to and review client financial situations, preferences and goals. Next he offers recommendations for asset allocations designed to accurately reflect each client's income and growth expectations. Finally, he follows up with discussions covering a wide range of opportunities, including investments, retirement, estate planning services and philanthropy.
