Since joining Merrill in 2011, Jay's primary focus continues to be to provide sound financial advice and guidance for a select group of individuals, families, and business owners. He utilizes a disciplined wealth management process built on time tested principles while allowing the flexibility to adapt to the ever changing market conditions. Jay provides access to the investment insights of Merrill and the banking convenience of Bank of America to help address the various aspects of clients' financial lives. He is driven by his passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals including diversified investment selection, retirement planning, college savings strategies, legacy planning and philanthropic giving. Jay grew up in Ithaca, NY and served the United State Marine Corps. from 1989-1993. He attended boot camp at Paris Island SC before being assigned to Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in Irvine, CA. He spent a year in Okinawa, Japan before ending his tour at Camp Pendleton, CA. While serving, he attended the University of Maryland. However, it was the Marine Corps.' values of honor, courage, and commitment that has benefited him the most as he continues to apply those same principals today as a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill. Jay now resides in Vero Beach, FL with his wife Cassie and their 8 children, which include the 4 young siblings they adopted in December of 2019 as Foster parents. Jay and Cassie continue to support Foster Families in the community, and Autism awareness, being impacted with a son with Asperger. Jay also serves on the board of the Navy League of the United States Treasure Coast Council. Support of veterans and active duty members of the military and their families is still very important to him and Cassie. Jay enjoys spending time with his family when not at work. Jay does like to get out on the golf course or pickleball courts with a group of friends when he has time.
