In 2006, I earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning and in 2018, after completing the advanced portfolio management coursework and training, obtained the PIM Portfolio Manager Designation. With more than 25 years of securities industry experience, I help my clients work towards their financial goals on their terms. Background and experience A graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., I earned his degree in Economic Theory. While in Washington, I began my financial services career as a senior economics reporter with Indepth Bond News, before becoming a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. I maintain the Uniform Registered Investment Advisor Law Series 65 registrations, as well as the General Securities Representative Series 7 registration and hold insurance licenses in numerous states for life, accident, variable contracts and long-term care. Committed to helping my community, I serve with the Rotary Club of Daniel Island and am multi-year major patron to the Charleston Animal Society.
