Jack blends a customer focus with an understanding and foundation in process, leveraging a knowledge of Lean Six Sigma. This structured approach to process improvement has helped shape Jacks work with a constant focus on improvements within a team, and across other functions, enabling operational risks to be reduced, and efficiencies found.
In all roles Jack has held within the CME Group he has worked with internal teams globally. An understanding of different cultures and ways of working is viewed as key to creating a collaborative environment and delivering a standard global approach. Jack has also worked with customers globally, from the east coast of Australia to the west coast of the USA. Recognizing the global follow-the-sun nature of many customers, Jack is keen to encourage cross training and reduce regional knowledge hot spots and key person dependencies. This ensures that a consistent customer experience can be provided globally. To assist with cross training, Jack collaborated with experts on the creation of video based micro-content.
Partnering with finance, sales and internal operations teams Jack has helped better align revenue numbers with finance and sales teams, as well as improving management information reporting. Recognizing the importance of revenue on the continued profitability of the business Jack has worked to improve the accuracy of forecast revenue measurably.
Jack continuously seeks to improve the performance and satisfaction levels within his team. Managing individuals in London and New York (in addition to previously managing individuals in Singapore and Tel Aviv) and partnering with a range of functions globally, Jack believes in creating the right environment to allow information to be shared and has worked to enhance stand up style meetings within his own team, and across the wider functions. Since lockdown, with people working from home, Jack partnered with others to run virtual coffee breaks to help create a social environment similar to that of the office, at the same time checking on the welfare of others. A key part of a productive work environment is employee wellbeing and Jack is active in engaging with employee network groups.
Highly motivated and passionate about his own and others development, Jack is constantly looking for challenging positions where he can build on his skills and expertise to add value to existing situations or facilitate new routes to change.
