Scott grew up on his family ranch/farm in Snowflake, Arizonaa town named after his grandfathers father who settled the rural community. In the early 80s Scott volunteered as a missionary in Argentina where he became fluent in Spanish. Currently, he continues to serve as the president of the Spanish-speaking congregation at his church. In 2005, he went to work for Edward Jones, literally knocking on doors to find clients. After 6 years, he transitioned his practice to Wells Fargo Advisors where he employs the vast resources of the firm to help his clients be comfortable with their own financial situation. Scott and his wife Tedi are based in Payson, Arizona where they raised their five children. They enjoy serving in the community through Scouting, church, the Northern Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology and various other organizations and efforts. They are adventurers and love traveling, exploring the outdoors, landscaping and learning about culture and history. They are passionate about getting together with their many grandchildren and other family members.
