Einstein called compound interest the 8th wonder of the world. Since I first learned about this concept in my youth, Ive been fascinated with personal finance. Id save unused lunch money in my own student savings account monthly as a kid. But not until I was in college, pursuing a career in medicine, did I consider the world of personal finance a profession. My eyes were opened and I was hooked. This field can be intimidating to many but its essential to understand in order to thrive. I think of it as the warmer side of finance. To many outsiders, it might seem its all about the investments. While thats an important part of what we do, were really able to impact peoples lives and develop lifelong relationships that continue on to successive generations. Think of a boardgame. Usually, people figure out the game as they go but most dont stop to read all the rules printed on the underside of the box lid. Our team has taken the time to read all the rules. As a result, we know how to best navigate the board. And thats the value we provide. We use this knowledge and the collective resources of the team to help folks map a path to achieve their life goals. Aside from marveling at the wonders of compound interest and the remarkable outcomes of American capitalism, I love history, travel, wine, good food, and sharing all that with the people I love oh and my rescue cat, Ace. Hes an inconsiderate roommate but adorable nonetheless. /*********/ **These are the comments of this employee only, and not of UBS Financial Services Inc., its subsidiaries or affiliates.
