Prior to joining the Financial Services industry, Doug was a Professional Baseball Player for the California Angels (1984-1989) and the Cincinnati Reds (1989-1991). He understands the mentality, discipline, and vision crucial for success, and his hard work and dedication has not gone unrecognized. Doug was awarded the 2014 Five Star Wealth Manager by Orange Coast Magazine. Doug graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Finance. To further complement his education, he has earned his Certified Financial Planner designation. This designation represents over 1,000 hours of comprehensive review in the following areas of: insurance, income taxation, financial planning, retirement planning, investments, and estate planning. When away from the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and supporting his daughters Track meets and coaching his sons Club Baseball Team.
