At 20 years old, I became a volunteer firefighter and EMT-D because someone told me women couldn't do it. I took the challenge, excelled and then earned #1 in my NFPA class. I also met my husband, who likes to remind everyone that I outranked him. The experience of helping people, gaining so much knowledge and building community gives me a compassionate understanding and quiet ability to listen. Everyone has a story. I like details and information. I enjoy thinking beyond the obvious and focusing on the end-goals and the dreams of my clients. My experienced team of Financial Advisors builds real world strategies, created through dynamic wealth management. We brainstorm what-if scenarios and support our clients throughout the major life stages and transitions. Life is full of unexpected things and it has been a gift to support people through my work as a Financial Advisor. As a team, we have fun along the way and our clients often turn into confidants and friends. I grew up in Connecticut, graduated from Ithaca College and spent a year in Bali, Indonesia. The world is a beautiful and big place filled with so many incredible people! At 30 years old, I had my first child, and then my second son two years later. My passion for family and thinking outside the box led to homeschooling our two sons. While maintaining work balance, my family embraces the diverse and uniquely sprawling homeschooling groups. The type 1 diabetes community also became family when one of my sons was diagnosed T1D. I now spend hours volunteering and coaching others to also achieve normal blood sugars. I have 20+ years working as a Financial Advisor at Merrill, and live in Onondaga Hill with my husband, two teenage sons, a rescued dog, named Lacy, 2 spoiled cats and a flock of 36 chickens. Life is filled with tiny details and moments; they make up what matters most. I'm excited to put together a financial strategy for your unique financial goals and dreams.
