He listens carefully and asks lots of questions to get beneath the surface and understand their psychology and the details of their needs and concerns. His goal is to be able to customize their financial plan to address specifically what they want to accomplish, and then let the plan drive the amount of risk taken in the portfolio. Having begun his career in the Chicago area as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Chuck audited the financial statements of various public and private companies. His move to Morgan Stanley in 2004 enabled him to use his people skills as well as his analytical experience to make a difference in peoples lives. In 2008 he joined The Pittsburgh Group and he spends much of his time traveling to visit clients across the country. Chuck earned his B.S. in accounting from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he and his wife, Julie, are avid Ohio State football and Hoosier basketball fans. As a self-described sports freak, Chuck enjoys teaching sons, Charlie and Ethan, and step-sons, Mason and Max, how to fly fish, golf and play baseball. He is on the Board of the Zanesfield Rod & Gun Club where he and his family first learned to fly fish and he is heavily involved with the Indiana University Alumni Association, having served as the past President of the Chicago and Pittsburgh chapters.
