Caitlin Firth joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2004 and worked side by side with her father, David W. Firth, for ten years. While David retired in 2014, Caitlin maintains the principles David brought to his business and relationships. Those principles stem from a quote by Charles E. Merrill: "The interests of our clients always come first". Caitlin graduated from the University of Oregon in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Having always been a student-athlete, Caitlin continued with athletics by joining the University of Oregon Track and Field team as a red-shirt Freshman, throwing the discus and hammer. In her junior year, Caitlin transitioned to, and competed with the Oregon Club Sports Crew team. After college, Caitlin returned to her home town of Pacific Grove, CA and managed the day-side logistics for the local store of a major national retail corporation. However, she jumped at the opportunity when a position became available at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Carmel, CA. For five of the 15 years Caitlin was in Carmel, she returned to her high school as a volunteer coach for the throwing events. While remaining strongly connected to Monterey County, she recently relocated to the East Bay area after becoming engaged in November 2018. Caitlin plans to make frequent visits to Carmel, San Francisco and Southern Oregon to meet with clients and visit family. Currently, she is looking forward to getting back to her woodworking hobby and a way to support the local Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) community.
