I have never stopped learning. As a young child, it was Sesame Street and now as a big kid its endless amounts of books, podcasts and webinars. Fact: I got my children library cards as soon as I could, so that I could take out more titles for myself. Fact: A box of teacher resources from the library is a good weekend for me. As a teacher, I enjoyed the smaller community but as consultant, on a bigger stage I caught fire. Presenting is my gift; relationship building is my ninja skill. I use my humor and passion for learning, to work with students and peers of all ages. Fact: My memory is solid. I impress students with my knack for remembering names first (obviously) last (often) and middle (when I really want to freak a student out!) Fact: I have been compared to Ellen and Gilda Radner (in reference to humor) and Sarah Farrah-Fowler (in reference to my glasses and nerdy ways). I love curriculum! Ive been known to discuss this at parties. Fact: A party for me is defined as coffee and a scone with a good friend for company. Tech is my friend. Ive been known to express my love of Google Sheets and formulas. Im still quite enamored with Data Validation and Conditional Formatting. Fact: I maintain a sheet of books so I dont buy doubles. Fact: I maintain a website www.brandijclark.com (ideas about education) and a google site https://sites.google.com/view/theconsultantscupboard/home (as a warehouse for my consulting materials). Writing is what I do the rest of the time. Hubby has questioned my fervor for Indigo: Dont you have enough writing books? The answer will be always be NO, they are my closest friends. Fact: Hubby calls the bookstore my off leash park. He takes me there to lift my spirits and to mingle with other introverts. Fact: I still have my first Scholastic book order. I love change and newness. Im open to offers of working with curriculum, as a teacher, or consultant or related positions in higher education and publishing. Fact: I kept my maiden name because my first and last name can be sung to the tune of the Mickey Mouse Club theme song. I discovered this in grade 5. Fact: Clark is superman's first name, my last, it's cool...right? Anyway, that's me, any questions? Please ask :)
