Brad Chappell began working in the Financial Services industry in 2004. He graduated with honors from The University of Texas with a BBA in Finance. Prior to U.T., Brad was the captain of his basketball team at Southern Virginia University. Brad earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation. He received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Investments & Wealth Institute (The Institute), which is taught in conjunction with The Wharton Business School. Brad is also a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the Firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis. Brad was named to the Barron's "Top 1,200 Financial Advisors" list in 2020. Brad was named to Forbes/SHOOK "America's Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors" list in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Brad was named to Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Brad was also named to Financial Planning's "Top 40 Advisors Under 40" list in 2021, 2020. Having spent 2 years as a missionary in Brazil, Brad is fluent in Portuguese. Brad, his wife Elizabeth, and their 3 children reside in Spring. He holds a Series 7, Series 66 and Series 31 FINRA registrations.
