About SereneScapes Gardens Out of her love for being outside and the calmness she feels when close to the earth, Betty Ann Falkner decided to focus on building SereneScapes Gardens in 2019. She now spends her time in nature helping people find enjoyment and relaxation in the outdoors. As a veteran gardener for over 30 years, Betty Ann offers free garden consultation with practical advice and tips for success. She also leads hands-on garden and wellness classes for adults. With her son/partner Joel Falkner, they design, install, reinvigorate and maintain gardens for their customers throughout the Piedmont Triad. Joel designs, builds and sells one of a kind live edge benches, tables and shelves using locally sourced woods, like poplar, walnut, pine and maple. Betty Ann grows a variety of succulents and sells them in upcycled containers from local thrift stores. I balance my "new horizons" with work as a Financial Consultant/Educator to nonprofits that want to add financial education to their offering.
