Angel Abellana is a Geodetic Engineer, writer, digital marketer and entrepreneur. She is the Incubation Coordinator of the University of Southeastern Philippines - AGILab Tech and Business Incubator. She also served as the ASEAN Regional Director of ASEAN Abundance Innovation Lab, mentoring and implementing hundreds of campaigns and enterprises with various causes ranging from environmental to civic to business development around ASEAN, USA, Japan and Australia. She specializes in the startup ideation stage and promoting entrepreneurial mindset as drivers for social change.
Previously, Angel won millions of pesos as seed funding from different grant giving bodies like YSEALI, Rotary, and ASEAN Foundation among others in competitions like the YSEALI Innovation Slam in Singapore, CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders Business Pitching in Malaysia and Advancing Indo-Pacific Leaders in Japan.
Angel finished her degree in the University of Southeastern Philippines and studied Global Environment Issues and Natural Resource Management in East West Center Hawai'i. She currently juggles technical engineering work, business, and digital content creation for different companies all over the world.
