Alex began his financial career in 2005 and joined Hegge Wealth Management in 2008. He is now 35 years old with over 15 years industry experience which we believe makes him one of the most tenured professionals of his age anywhere. In addition to his industry experience, Alex has received his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification, and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor credential. These designations place him near the top of the industry in terms of formal retirement and financial planning education, and give him a unique perspective into the needs of business owners as they transition towards retirement. All three designations required completion of an extensive curriculum, rigorous tests, and ongoing education. Alex is a St. Paul native - a graduate of both Minnehaha Academy and the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He currently lives in Shoreview, MN with his wife, Allison, and their two young sons. Alex is a 2017 graduate of the St. Paul Chamber's "Leadership St. Paul" development program, and in his (increasingly limited) free time, hobbies include reading, cooking, and ultramarathon running. Alex is working towards a goal of completing a marathon or longer in every state. He's completed 8 states and hoping to have number 9 done soon.
