Adrian Powell is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with The Peachtree Group at Morgan Stanley in Atlanta, Georgia. Adrian is privileged to serve a dynamic clientele of individuals and families by creating customized financial plans based on their unique current and future financial needs. He helps individuals who are three to five years away from retirement and ready to initiate a plan to support them before, during and after their transition from the savings phase to the spending phase of their financial life cycle. For individuals transitioning from corporate 401(k)s, SEPs, SIMPLEs, incentive savings programs and ESOPs, Adrian begins the planning process by listening to understand the clients investment personality and cash management. Adrian has been helping clients achieve their financial goals since he joined Morgan Stanley in 2005. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation which provides him with the knowledge to understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, preserve assets, maximize growth and transfer wealth. He earned his MBA from Mercer University and his B.A. from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Adrian is passionate about improving the lives of others. He presently serves as the President on the Board of Directors at Camp Twin Lakes, an Atlanta based non-profit organization that provides life changing camp experiences to Georgias children with serious illnesses, disabilities and other life challenges. Adrian is honored to have been selected to participate in Leadership Atlanta as a member of the Class of 2018.
